At SafePACS, we are continuously striving to provide a hassle-free experience to our users when they use either the Java or Browser viewer. Should you find, for example, that you are having difficulty opening a certain study or collection of studies, or even a certain type of study, we recommend the following:
1) If you are using a desktop or laptop computer and are having difficulty with the Java viewer, then try loading the same studies with the Browser viewer (which generally loads studies more quickly). Likewise, if you experience difficulty with the Browser viewer, try the Java viewer (on desktops and laptops).
2) If you have selected more than 3 or 4 studies at a time to view, consider opening several viewers with smaller collections of studies. You can open multiple instances of either viewer.
3) Try freeing up more memory by closing other non-essential programs.
Finally, if you do experience a problem, we want to know about it, so we can address it as soon as possible. Please use the Support application to send us a ticket, with as much identifying information you can provide about the studies you are accessing and the viewer you are using, so that we can address the issue. Please note that our support team may need to access the study, or studies in question in order to provide a solution.
